The project is funded from July 1, 2017 through December 31, 2020. Planning meetings of the project team began in April 2017.

Already, there are about 300 reports on Huhugam Archaeology available in tDAR. These include 37 major reports in the Intersections collection of Arizona Department of Transportation projects associated with Freeway construction in the Phoenix metropolitan area. They also include a major sets of reports from the US Bureau of Reclamation-funded projects associated with raising Theodore Roosevelt Dam and the Lower Verde Project.

We have completed the survey of user needs. The report on the survey and its supporting data can be found here: https://core.tdar.org/collection/68961/daha-user-needs-survey-collection .

We have developed draft vocabularies that will enhance the ability of Natural Language Processing tools to effectively use the archive.
